Touch Technologies
Touch screens integrated into complete systems fulfill your requirements with variable input interfaces, various carrier glass strengths and numerous fittings. They enable individual scope for design and construction. A special coating process together with special foils prevents the appearance of Newton Rings. Customized touch panel solutions are offered by SCHURTER with controllers and chipsets for perfect integration.

Touch Panel
The Touch Panel is an easy-to-use, fast input medium for interactive control devices, which are especially used in medical technologies. Touch panels with end-to-end front foils provide impenetrable protection against dirt and liquids. Thus, they allow easy cleaning and are therefore suitable for use in medical applications.

End-to-end front foils
Touch panels with end-to-end front foils offer impenetrable protection against dirt and liquids and are suitable for harsh industrial environments. This construction has a completely closed surface with a very high transparency and an anti-reflective coating. The front foil is printed according to customer specifications. Optionally, a keypad can be integrated. Between the keyboard and the actual touch screen there are no edges.

Front panel with window cut
Depending on the ambient conditions of the operational area, the requirements to the touch panel can be reduced. Here it is possible to cut out a window frame in the design foil. Cost-saving standard foils can be used which are laminated only in the edges of the touch screen up to the active area, but across the entire touch panel. The transition from the touch screen to the panel surface is flush and dirt resistant without significant edges, only the cut-out of the foil elevates insignificantly.

Rear assembly
This construction allows the rear assembly of a touch panel, for example in a window of a control cabinet. By specially sealing the gap to the wall, these touch panels also provide inpenetrable protection against dirt and liquids and are suitable for harsh industrial environments. The front foil can be printed all over according to customer specifications. Optionally, a keypad can be integrated. Between the actual touch screen and the keypad, there are no edges.

Frame
This assembly method is carried out on the inside of a cut-out of a housing or a front cover. Special materials are chosen for sealing, which allow a degree of protection of IP65. Ideally, the touch screen is laminated on the display frame, subsequently this unit is screwed from the rear towards the front. The touch screen surface may not be rigidly adhered to the housing. In the frame a membrane keypad can optionally be integrated.
